Well I was wanting to try and do something a tad different for a feature this time. Gonna do some shots that really have inspired me and made me want to try new things and be a better photographer. Hope you guys like these as much as I have and that you will visit all artist galleries and take a look at their work yourself. Do the artist and yourself a favor and view them all FULL size. And away we go
First up is a new friend of mine on here.

Her gallery will show that she can pretty much do it all. Macro, nature, portraits, etc. One of my FAVORITE shots she has

This one of course caught my eye because I am a big fan of Macro shots and especially drop shots like this. The subtle pink colors work so well with the brighter yellow. Stunning work from a stunning artist
Another new friend of mine on here

also has a wide array of ability and style. Nature, still life, portraits, and architectural shots are what you can expect to see in this highly talented artist gallery. This shot truly grabs my attention

Well as many of you may know I am a HUGE fan of silhouette shots and this one cant get much better in my opinion. It truly has it all. Stunning nature, epic architecture, beautiful sunset, and the rippling water come together perfectly in my opinion
If you havent done yourself the pleasure of visiting

s gallery
.trust me
.you will thank me later if you do! Nature at its finest! The color she achieves in her work is amazing and she has a great eye and perspective when it comes to nature shots. Her sunrise/set shots will make ya go

!!! Its so hard to choose the shot that grabs me the most in her gallery but this is pretty darn close:

Ok
.first of all can you believe this shot ONLY has 13

s at the time of this posting??? Such an injustice to me. I truly think this shot backs up all that I have said about her work. Stunning color, and great perspective she chose. Love the light fixture silhouetted against that beautiful sky. Kinda combing natures light with man made
.

Does anyone like STUNNING shots of architecture and HDR photography??? If sooooooo
..check out

s work.

Total loss of words to be honest but one of the shots that seem to catch my eye every time I go to his gallery is:

This shot almost seems surreal to me. The color is astounding! It reminds me of reading a great fantasy novel where there is a gate that leads to better places full of beauty. Love the tilted angle he chose to shoot this to. The small area in the top left of the rays of light add to the atmosphere of the shot.
The next on here is a truly great friend of mine and ASTOUNDING photographer

. The first thing your gonna notice when you visit Andreas gallery is the EPIC sky shots. But dont overlook her still life, architectural work, and portraits of her little ones.

! So I am gonna go a tad different road than she might think I would here and choose this to feature:

The color and detail are breathtaking to me. The angle she chose to shoot this adds character and sets a great mood to me. Very powerful! Oh yeah
.HOOK EM

Andrea!

If your into amazing portraits in creative styles, great tutorials, beautiful kitty pics, VERY photogenic kids, and a little bit of some horror stuff mixed in check out

s gallery! Very thoughtful person as well and is always willing to give a opinion on things and help you try to make it better if you would like. I think she will probably already know what shot I am gonna choose

Do I really even need to say anything???

Not only does she do the makeup for these shots
.she also is an awesome photographer and took this shot herself! One of the most captivating pictures I have seen with those eyes. Sometimes a picture can tell a lot more than only a 1000 words if you ask me
Wanna see some great nature shots? Some macro work as well? Check out

s gallery. Her gallery covers a wide array of nature subjects all the way from landscapes to macro insect shots and everything in between. One of my personal favorites of hers would have to be:

Thats just cool as hell!!! I dont care who ya are! Oooooooo macro photography is soooooo neat! You truly need to see this full size to appreciate the detail and intricacies of all the little legs and web and strands of silk.
My wonderful friend

does some amazing nature work as well. I love her plant and flower shots personally because she isnt afraid to look for the different things and shoot them. This shot is a good example of what I am talking about

Now many people that were wanting to shoot this might of removed the one stem out of place or found another to shoot. I really like the perspective only showing half the dandelion too. It helps the eye go to that one odd ball sticking off to the side putting it in the spot light a tad more.
My great friend

has some beautiful nature stuff. Dennis has the ability to take nature photography and think outside the box a tad. He also has some great still life and architectural work.

A combination of both worlds in my eyes
..nature verses man made. The intense reds in the sky almost appear as if the sky is angry with the power lines leading straight into it. IDK
maybe a tad deep

Its a great shot regardless
My next friend

simply has a gallery full of awesomeness! You will look at this nature stuff and think wow
cant get much better. Then you will see his portrait work and will be floored! He recently took some shots of a pair of hawks:

I was astounded at how amazing they were! Perfect exposure, great expression, and stunning clarity. What else can I say?
My good friend

is a photographer with many talents. I truly am a big fan of his nature work. He also has many other types of deviations in his gallery even going into more traditional styles of art.

He probably knew I would choose this one. STUNNING orange colors and I love the panorama he decided to do on it. I love the tree kinda framing it up on the right side as well.
One of my favorite bird photographers ever

can seem to have birds WANT to do silly and fun things in front of her with camera in hand. She captures personalities in all her shots which is amazing when it comes to birds as a subject. Dont be surprised to also find other critters and nature shots in her gallery.

Not much I like better than a silhouette shot
.but add birds in such a great position on ONE small branch and it becomes gold!

originally caught my eye due to her beautiful nature work. But lately her architecture stuff is starting to pull me in other directions.

Very talented photographer and an even nicer person. Also has some very interesting takes on some still life things that have gotten my attention.

So much about this shot I like. Of course the golden colors on the wings just tells the viewer what time of day it is. I use to see these guys basking in the last rays of light they could get all the time when I was a kid down by a local pond. Took me down memory lane as they say

I am gonna end this by featuring one of my very first friends I had on here

. She has a style I have not seen anyone come close to having so far. Her ability to transport whoever is looking at her work right to the spot she was at and make them feel like they are standing there still astound me to this day. She is ALWAYS helpful and willing to offer any advice to anyone. Yet another GREAT deviant on here
.

This shot is a perfect example of the style I was talking about. I swear I can almost smell the rain every time I see this. The subtle colors and umbrellas set the atmosphere perfectly. The depth she chose to shoot this gives a larger than life feeling to the amazing trees and show the true size of the structures in the shot.
Well I hope you guys like this feature. I wanted to try and show some appreciation to a few of those that have been so kind to me and done so much for me since I have been on dA. I plan to do more detailed features like this in the future if it goes over well. Hope everyone has a great day!
Dennis
